Every Donation Matters
Our mission is to reduce barriers to education and facilitate equitable access to learning for all Kingston students. This can only be accomplished through the generosity of our donors.
How it Works
Your donation goes directly toward the purchase of a $320 ReBOOT Canada Premium Refurbished Laptop for a Kingston student in need. SLAP! operates with no administrative fees, so every dollar you give supports a student’s access to technology.
ReBOOT Canada will issue a tax receipt for donations of $1,000+. Click the donation link for more details.
Donor Messages
“SLAP is an innovative program that encourages the efficient use of laptops and tablets as an important aspect of secondary school education, and with merit, should be available to all.”
- Peter McLane, Donor - $320 = 1 Laptop
"While reading the news story about Gabriel and his project to fund laptops for students, it struck me how selfless it was and how special the idea was and would be to all those students who become recipients of the laptops… So, for me, it is just pleasing to note that by this small gesture, there will be three happy students in the near future who will have a laptop in hand and be able to proceed with their education… All the best to you and your group on this amazing and worthy project. I commend you for first recognizing and then carrying out the project. You are a boon to your fellow students, and I am sure you will also be special in whatever profession you choose as you move through life. All the best and well done.”
